A Thought That Will Liberate You Forever
Aug 25, 2024 When we face challenges, it's natural for them to occupy our minds. Whether it's a health issue or a financial problem, we can't escape the reality of the situation. Dwelling on what's lacking or what could go wrong can hinder our progress and keep us living in agony and pain.
They Seem to Grow
We keep thinking about the problem, and the more we think about it, the bigger it seems to get. It's alright to keep thinking about it, right? Completely wrong.
Problems are in the Past
The truth is, the problem—whether it's a health issue or a financial issue—is already in the past. Focusing on it will not help you solve it at all. What you need is the solution to the problem, not the problem itself. Focus on the possibility of great health if you suffer from an illness. If you are facing financial difficulty, focus on the possibility of abundance. Problems and solutions operate on completely different frequencies.
New Perspective
This little shift in perspective is liberating. One leads you to more problems, while the other gives you hope for the solution. When you focus on the problem, you feel angry, frustrated, and upset. But when you focus on the solution, you feel great. You feel a sense of hope and peace inside. When you start feeling that, it means you are on your way to finding the solution. Your internal guidance system can't fail; it can tell you immediately where you stand.
How the Mind Works
In my book "Act on the Big Thing," I dedicated a chapter to how the mind works. One of the most important things to understand is that your mind can work against you. You are not your mind. Your mind is in a constant state of thinking, and it won't stop unless you learn to control it. If you don't manage the way your mind thinks, it will control you.
Leaders Have a Positive Mindset
Most successful leaders have a positive mindset. Our mindset significantly shapes our ability to pursue big goals. A negative mindset creates doubts and fears that hinder our progress. On the other hand, a positive and proactive mindset empowers us to take bold steps toward our big thing.

Remember, your mind is a powerful tool. Make just a little shift. Every time you face a challenge of any sort, put your focus on the solution and the possibilities of the solution. You will be surprised by the liberation this might give you. You are a great hero.
